My Savage static has been using Dynamis to gather since we're coming from all the other DCs and travel is still hit or miss.

A few times I've forgotten to return home to Lamia after we're done for the night and I'll run my roulettes there.

I haven't seen a particularly egregious difference in quality of players but I usually run as a warrior (and I'm in Savage tanking gear...) so my own immortality is probably coloring that perception.

Now that you mention it, I'll both make it a point to run roulettes over there more often, and to scope out how the locals perform.

This game is terrible at teaching players ANYTHING with MSQ duties, and alliance are designed that some players are always able to be carried through - admitted by Yoshi-P.
Making it to max level doesn't mean anything if they're still new.
By new I mean starting in the last six months.

I've seen some people say that a lot of new players come from games where you basically have to buy a bunch of stuff just to have fun, therefore they immediately buy both MSQ and Job skips which creates this mass influx of high-level/low-skill players. I'm not sure how true it is since almost all of it is basically hearsay.

On the flipside, I've had more horrendous Alliance Raid roulettes on Aether than I have anywhere else so take what you will of that.

The only difference I see personally in comparison to say Aether is if you get a bad group it's REALLY bad rather then just bad lol but as far as amount, bout the same as other NA servers.

I see Legend-title/Ultimate weapon-havers regularly failing basic gameplay mechanics like never using AOEs skills on trash or spamming things like Cure 1 or Physick in level 90+ content, not knowing what invulns are on tanks (mainly a healer issue, good luck getting to use Living Dead), making bizarre rotational choices even after every job has been reduced to "press the flashing button". I've seen so many bad "legend" players after coming back to the game for DT that it's beginning to feel like the same situation as mentor crown users. And this is happening on Primal, a very old and populated DC. It's honestly been a bit of culture shock in a way from the last time I played where people were typically fairly competent and you'd almost never see a Cure 1. I've seen easily 10+ healers using their basic GCD heals on all varieties of healer. Probably similar numbers of DPS players not using AOE skills on trash.

I think the issue is that the general quality of the playerbase's skill level has just continued to erode even further. My theory on this is because SE continues to remove any form of consequences from not knowing how to play a job correctly. They removed essentially every single upkeep timer/DOT in the game now, managing resources is a joke to the point that even the MP bar has become totally superfluous for every caster. The game does not encourage players to put any thought into why they are using certain skills or what their skills even do. All they do is "press shiny button" now. I never thought them removing TP would lead to all of this.

Me and my friends have started calling them "Dynamis moments".

We moved around the start of DawnTrail...but we're seriously considering moving back because it's awful.

Its not nearly as bad as it was when Dynamis first opened as many people made housing characters and were queueing for the required (for housing/GC rank up quests) dungeons through Duty Finder as undergeared/no jobstone characters.

    That was an experience.

I moved to Dynamis from Primal and love it. The "worst" experience by far is alliance raid. I have seen multiple total wipes on first boss of World of Darkness like 5 times in a row in the same run even on Dynamis. I have seen -A- wipe on first boss in WoD on Primal but on several occasions. Outside of that, yes I ran a dungeon a couple of times where the tank involved thought they had to switch tank stance on and off as part of some weird rotation but the groupI was in was me another fc member and 2 duty finder randos. We were able to talk that person through how to tank calmly and they are a friend of mine now.

I have been on Dynamis for months and now my fc has about 15 regular people (didnt have an fc at all when I came), and the only thing we dc hop for now is Alliance raid and pvp eoulettes. I have no real complaints other than that
