Dynamis and Painful Duties

Honestly is it just me or is this DC completely hopeless when it comes to duties? I don't mean like "Savage" or "Extreme" or "Ultimate" sort of duties either. I mean like Leveling roulette levels of difficulty.

I'm aware this DC is full of new players and sprouts, but they're not the problem. I'm talking people who are high enough level to know better, and still fail to perform the core basics of their role. Tanks who don't turn stance on, don't use mitigation. Healers who let tanks die on single packs of mobs, DPS who may as well be AFK for how long it takes bosses to die. Parties that need mechanics explained to them, and they completely ignore the explanation to die repeatedly anyway. So I put a danger dorito on myself which still doesn't save them.

Honestly I feel that the Trust NPC's are better than the majority of people I've had in my duties lately. I don't have a problem explaining things to people who are willing to listen and capable of learning, but there is only so much I can do when people can't seem to grasp the basics of what is expected from their chosen role. Tell me I'm not going insane.

I have an alt there and I haven't been on her much since DT dropped but prior to that it wasn't too horrible. Is this something that happened more recently? I'll have to check it out myself. Maybe an influx of new folks with DT? Level might not really mean a lot on that DC since it has the Road to 90 buff.

DC has a lot of new people so expect roulette to be filled with those that don't know what is going on. I have definately seen more wipes on duties compared to other DCs.

that's why I moved and not gonna lie even as a healer it reached a point of what the heck is going on when you have warrior warriors of all people that die to everything and still use mitigation

My Savage static has been using Dynamis to gather since we're coming from all the other DCs and travel is still hit or miss.

A few times I've forgotten to return home to Lamia after we're done for the night and I'll run my roulettes there.

I haven't seen a particularly egregious difference in quality of players but I usually run as a warrior (and I'm in Savage tanking gear...) so my own immortality is probably coloring that perception.

Now that you mention it, I'll both make it a point to run roulettes over there more often, and to scope out how the locals perform.
