Just to put it into perspective...im so bored with the game im letting go of my mist plot 5 mansion just so im no longer held hostage by the sub. It's gotten that bad....

I only own a small house...but yeah. My sub runs out at the end of the month and i dont care anymore really. Its just an item in a game i no longer enjoy. Why pay any more sub money just to keep it? You are doing the right thing.

You're not the only ones. My server has already gone from 265 open plots to 418 open plots after DT launch. I'm giving up a medium house, a mansion and 4 smalls myself.

I just said there are 418 open houses though, it was the part you cut out. How many do you need until you consider there to be "houses to buy"?

I'm considering letting go of my house so I can just unsub between anything meaningful. It's actually gotten ridiculous how stale this game is nowadays.

Have you considered that after playing the same game for 10ish years you might just might be...done? Frankly, I'm surprised I've gotten 11 years out of the game. Usually I can only play a game for a month before I have to put it down, no matter how entertaining it might be. Might just be time to pack it up and move on.

Can't speak for others, but personally - I am nowhere near done playing FF14. I love this game, I enjoy the gameplay, the lore, the world, to the point where i sometimes just log in and walk around just because. Been playing since 2.0 too, with a little hiatus during Endwalker.

What currently sours this whole experience, for me, is the wait for content that is not "room with boss", that is actually engaging and makes use of the max level combat kit, and the way classes changed from Shadowbringers to now.
