    Phys ranged dps, damage tweak

    For all those with aiming gear,
    Obviously they can move freely but when they are stationary. Why not give them an extra crit buff. Since they r steady. It's more likely to hit the boss's "vital organs".
    So if while moving a BRD has 20% crit chance. If the BRD hasn't moved in the past 4 seconds that crit should go to 40%.
    Another play could be, If the BRD is let's say within 20yds of the boss then direct hit chances are higher. Point blank means direct hit of course.
    That way even though these dps are mobile, thay have increase dps and more optimization potential and balanced dps.

    Good idea it will limit range physical movement, for extra crit but I believe the issue of free movement has been solved in PvP kit for Bard and MCH.

    They already tried limit physical ranged movement by adding cast bars during 3.0, but people hated it. It is hard to find solution that please everyone.

    It's an interesting idea but I do actually wonder how fun it would be to play. It would certainly need a crazy amount of fine tuning and definitely solid UI and feedback on the player's end, which I do not trust SE to do since they're not even able to give us feedback on positionals...

    But in essence, would it be so different from cast times? You don't move, you do damage, you move, you lose damage?

    Wouldn’t this be kinda pointless? The only phys ranged that still run around in circles and jump after every attack are generally going to be doing sub-par dps anyway (otherwise they’d realise it’s better to stay still behind the boss and stop baiting aoes in the wrong places lol). So all this would really do is make bad players even worse and good players would gain 100% of the benefit. Which, whether that’s good or bad is debatable I guess, but it’s not exactly how the game is designed current lol

    I'd rather have the walkable cast on MCH.
    You could bring back the ammos as instant cast like PCT's Holy... Wait, PCT stole the ammos gauge!

    DNC and BRD can remain mobile as they have their procs to manage, increase the procs if necessary.

    The rationale around this seems backwards, because it's only forced movement that matters, not optional movement.

    While this does sound like a novel idea, it seem like it could it could be frustratingly janky to use -- like how an ability like Ten Chi Jin can easily break if you look at it the wrong way. As others have said, I think walking casts would be an easier, and less janky solution.

    Thematically, the OP's idea may make sense for BRD and MCH... But DNC is all about movement "dance-y", it would feel a bit weird for them to remain stationary.
