Demolition Email bugged?

I logged in today and had the random thought to look at Estate timers and found that my personal house was set for demolition in 9 days. I quickly sorted that out, but then I went digging through my email and I haven’t seen a house demolition email since November of last year. Definitely did not get one anytime in the past month.

Why did I not get an email?

My only guess is my guild has been mostly dead for years and I was only one playing in the months leading up to dawntrail, and took ownership of the FC and the house along with it. (Still the only one that logs in other than someone’s low level alt I think)

Does FC House take some kind of priority in the notification system?
Shouldn’t I get a notification if any house I have goes up for Demo?
Why is there not a more obvious pop up when you log in that says you have a house up for Demo?

I know I try to check both houses randomly, and I know I recently redid the outside of my personal house a few weeks ago but it seems I forgot to go inside and reset the timer. I don’t know why I had the random thought to check today. I’m glad I did cause I don’t want to loose it or my stuff.

The ownership of the FC house belongs to the account claims it, not the current owner of FC.

Did you remember to check your email Spam folder? The notice isn't sent from one of the normal SE email accounts so it could have ended up there.

Thirty-five days of inactivity
An e-mail will be delivered to the registered e-mail addresses of all free company members, or the owner of a private estate, indicating the estate is being prepared for auto-demolition.

So it shouldn't matter who the "technical" owner of a FC house is. All members should be getting the notice once there are only 10 days left.

The demolition email system is notoriously bugged, though. There have been multiple reports of players receiving demolition emails for houses they've never owned or for FC houses when they haven't been a member of the affected FC in years.

And of course with demolition being suspended on the NA data centers as of today, there won't be any notices being sent out in the near future. It still doesn't explain why the OP didn't receive their notice 2 days ago unless SE had already delayed notification pending a final decision regarding the suspension (unlikely but possible).
