Okay, thanks. Not for me then.

This sounds like the Casual Queue experience.

Not even close. But it's hard to put into words because most of it comes from experience and feeling.

However there is definitely big outlying themes that could be made into guides, like positioning for dummies, what to do as a melee, what to do as a ranged, how to rotate and manage resources, how to burst and who and where, how to respawn and hold... and that's just barely touching on the universal aspects of it. A lot of it also lies directly on knowing what each job is able to do, and how to play around them and/or what to expect from them.

Okay you have piqued my interest again. Although I will say I'm always skeptical in any game when the "experience and feeling" business is used as an excuse for the lack of clear dissemination. I recognize both are essential, but whenever something allegedly cannot be put into words, I'd suggest the aficionados simply have to try harder.

Which in fact you hint at in your second para.

It can be put into words. It's just hard unlike most pve things those days because it's not binary, mathematical truths so you need to consider carefully what you're written if you're worried about not falling constantly into blanket statements and keep some measure of rationality.

And one of the main reasons people tend to go more easily with clips and replays to have someone check them and tell them what they did right and what they did wrong is that it's literally about experience and not hard set rules.

Basically yes. Outside of Light party, where your team can communicate, solo queue cc(casual/ranked) boils down to play your job, hit the person with a 1, or put a 1 on someone(optional). As long as your aware of your kit and positioning your set.

I’m here to ask you about the drama. The drama you asked not to be addressed. The very big drama.

Good luck with your effort. I don't feel like assemble a team or dedicate a chunk of time for this.

It honestly a good point though. There aren't any LP specific guidelines out there, mostly because what we have is like tribal knowledge between 20-something teams. I'm doing another panel at Gateway Fate, I'll add in a slide for stuff like how to actually form a team and sign up for tournaments, and what to start with (burst, CDs, prio positions, etc.).

Probably gonna put that up here in a day or two as well, why not.

Not an uncommon failing of Discord communities. I wish you luck expanding a mode you clearly care about, but suggest cliques will hamper your progress.
