Job in Avatar?

I'm a lvl 100 BLM, but my forum picture shows me as a 100 Thamaturge. I was told to go into settings, but I could not find anything in there to use my actual job. I was dissed for not using my job stone at 100, which is totally not true, not to mention is that even possible. What can I do?

When you say 'avatar', do you mean the picture, or what's written under it? The image actually draws it's data from the Lodestone, and reflects what your character is currently equipped or glamoured as in game (so if you're a BLM it will show whatever BLM glamour or appearence your character currently has). It updates slowly though so it might take a while for it to change if you change your character's appearence.

If you're meaning instead the 'Main class:xxxxx' thing underneath though, then that is seperate to the image, and is handled entirelly within the forum. To change it, on this forum in the top right of the screen next to the blue 'Logout' button click 'Settings', then on the right hand side under the heading 'My Settings', click 'Edit Character'. This will then list all your characters on your FFXIV account with your currently selected character at the top, and the rest greyed out. Your character listed will also have three buttons on it that each list a class, based on what classes you have unlocked and their level.

The one to change is the one on the far left, as this is the one that is displayed under your character's avatar in every post you make, so just click on the button and select the desired class or Job (and it shows classes and Jobs as individual classes so this is why it's showing THM not BLM for you in the forum). Then click 'Save Changes' in the bottom right of the page. It should now update your character information in the forum.

Not confusing at all, you give good explanation! It was kind of really non-obvious what to do because I had 2 not grayed out characters and the bottom one had the buttons. I did that one and let's see by this post if it works!
