Would give them a good reason to finally off a Scion too, so they wouldnt have to mechanically rely on them staying alive to do Trusts.
If anything that's the biggest clue always that nobody is going to be offed ever again.

While you're at it add squad/trust support for all content because there's only 1 brainrot way to play each job anyway so I might as well play with 7 bots that get everything right and at least remove the artificial difficulty of it being a forced 8 player thing.

It would help with MSQ I think if they didn't need a justification for why X characters have to be there, if it could just be our squadron. You can still have Trust Characters of the scions but even things like Duty Support could make dungeon content more varied.

At this rate I get more personal interaction with them than the scions. You even get to see them train and stuff. I feel bad leaving them all alone in the barracks

The squadrons should've been THE trust system and they should've left Duty Support in their own tiny cage & never venture beyond helping people to solo queue. I will not change my mind.
