Allied Society Races is too clunky, please change it

EDIT: My vote goes to Allied Tribes.

Look, on a list of problems, this is so far down it might as well not count; however, on the list of problems that are easiest to fix, I'd say it's closer to the top.

Allied Society Races is to clunky and long to say that I still refer to them as Beast Tribes. I get we want to change it b/c in the meta of the game we've gotten to know the beastial races and want to show more respect to their societies - all for it, but there's a better way to do it.

My suggestion would be to change it to Allied Races, two short words - still clunky b/c of the 4 syllables vs 2, but better than the mouthful that is Allied Society Races - which sounds so dumb, we're adventurers not Lit majors...

United Tribes
Kindred Tribes
Joint Tribes

United Races
Allied Races
Joint Races

These aren't great compared to Beast Tribes, but if you have any other suggestions for the devs, please list them.

Same, they're just Beast Tribes. It just annoys me how ridiculous Allied Society Quests sounds, it sounds like a middle management safety course I'm required to take for a job I don't have and has equally useless information that is just giving someone a job for doing nothing - is this over the top and a me problem? Yes. However, to sum it up.. it's dumb and I don't like it lol.

My vote goes for Allied Tribes. I would actually use that one.

It's a stretch to call the Loporrits or Omicron "tribes". Societies is fine.

There is no real good term that would fit all of them... They could have just stuck with Tribes as it did fit the most for the ARR, HW and SB ones as they were a specific tribe of their race that you dealt with.

personally I think the beast tribe naming is the least of the games current issues.

It doesn't really work though in EW with the 'reborn' alien races of Ultima Thule, which range from literally human like in the case of the Karellians, to robots in the Omicronions. And then you have the loporrits which may be closer to the beastmen in terms of 'vaguely anthrompomorphic intelligent animals", they're still more like intelligent puppets that Venat made to run 'Spaceship Moon'. And then you have the Arkasodara who are just another race of people in Thavnair, despite their appearences.

So calling them 'beast tribes' simply does not work. It's an old relic of FFXIV's roots spinning off from FFXI where the 'beastmen' term originated from, but the game has moved past that legacy.
