House flagged for demo less than a week since visits?

Uhh what's going on with the house demo system?

Got the demo schedule email that claimed my FC's house was scheduled for demo.
The house listed was my personal house though not my FC's.

Though maybe it was an error but sure enough on visiting i get the message its no longer flagged.

Now heres the issue.
I was there less than 1 week ago with a few others!
Is less than 1 week of not visiting your home now enough to get it flagged!?

Good first question to ask the OP since only entering the house proper will reset the timer.

Second question for the OP: how long before that last visit had it been since you had entered your house?

Some of us are fairly certain there is a bug happening infrequently that prevents the housing servers from recognizing the owner has entered to reset the demo timer. It's not a problem for those players that enter their house on a regular basis since the next visit will usually work as intended and the timer will reset. It definitely can be a problem for those that only enter their house once or twice each 45 days.

Morale of the story: if you went to the effort of getting a house, use it on a regular basis instead of entering only to reset the demo timer. Otherwise, don't get upset when it demos.

I just noticed my personal house was set to demo in 9 days when I logged in today. however I got no email about demolition. Did a good long search in my email and found nothing in my email for demo since last year. It was just random chance I thought to check timers when I logged in today.

It’s bad enough if housing is getting demo timer after less than a week but doubly so if the email is not sending out.

I run a FC map dungeon group every Friday, somehow pulled one together last Friday despite no signups and won a treasure pile.
So Friday was the last time i visited to place it, so about 4 or 5 days ago. (its also an indoor object).

Im also told a few FC members have been there since to check out the treasure pile since they dont have it and wondered about the size etc.

I don't know if this is the same error that happened to a friend of mine, but just in case: Are you listed as a co-tenant on anyone else's plot?

My FC leader got an email about our FC being demo'd but we use it pretty frequently, so we were all very confused. So she also made sure to check her private house, and yet the emails still kept coming about a house about to be demolished, so she reached out to customer service to try and figure out what was happening.

Turns out that a friend had set her as a co-owner of their house and she either had totally forgotten or didn't have any idea that person had give her co-ownership ability, but they had stopped playing and she was getting the emails about the house, but could do nothing to reset the timer as she wasn't the owner of the plot.

If the emails keep coming, it may be worth contacting support in case something like that is happening. Thankfully none of my friend's stuff was in any danger of being deleted, it was just a weird error.
