Refund or free Sub Time for DDoS NOW

The game is in an unplayable state for months now unless you play at some bizarre time like 10am when everyone is working, and nothing is being done.

They can't fix the DDoS and they made no announcement that they are even planning to address this problem long-term. In fact they are DDoSing themselves probably because their servers are too weak and need time to shut down and cool off every 24 hours.

Not to mention that there are like a bazillion hotfix patches every single patch nowadays.

You can't even play the game now even if you want to!

What other MMO has DDoS every single day? And this is just the first page, out of 113 pages.

Either refund half the sub cost or give us 15 days free NOW. And come clean about the so-called "DDoS" that conveniently always happens when Japan is awake. Your servers are just bad, stop lying that it's DDoS.

Not really, you can't really ward against it whenever it get to it, and some uimportant server like that as you mention, most likely will not be targetted at all, it is an entire different scale you need to look at, and who can be doing this, it looks more like hybrid war on the scale NA is targetted currently, a couple of places in the world has greater interest in irritating people like this, and since the NA Hubs are so large, it is the perfect test ground as well, before they hit other targets.

Also you should read up on DDoS on the internet, it will provide you all the information you need also it would or could tell you about how it is so difficult to ward against for pretty much anything big out there.

SE isnt a small indie company.

They can't counter what isn't targeting them and most of the recent attacks haven't been targeting the game. If they were, everyone would be getting dumped from the servers instead of just certain players while others are unaffected.

The problem is those who are initiating the attacks in the first place, not SE and not the players.

Or they could move NA to the cloud server they used for the cloud test. It was widely praised for the improved ping.

all well and good... but unless they are running direct lines to every subscriber, there is still the potential to be caught in DDoS attacks directed elsewhere... as we have seen.

No its not their direct fault, not they dont need to, yet i feel like a "oh well our servers are down, anyways enjoy your free playtime!" would do more against the ddos then... whatever they're doing lol
