Refund or free Sub Time for DDoS NOW

Support has indicated they do not do refunds or time comp under any circumstances.

However, as the problem is ongoing (current DDOS on NA Primal as of 9-27-24 7pm PDT), it seems the LEAST they could do is temporarily cancel auto-demolition on housing.

What does auto-demolition has anything to do with DDOS attack?
You only need to get into house with in 45 calendar days, it is not difficult.

That's so wild. For the first time, I'm actually not experiencing issues and haven't for several days. But now everyone I know is having problems.
Are they sure it's even a ddos at this point? Like, it'd happen to everyone if it were, right?

if its specifically targeted at SE, yes, you would experience it as well.

if its hitting a node they go through, but not you, and aimed at someone else...then no, you wouldnt experience any issues. like I have only experienced one issue recently with being online, and I am in Canada. so, not entirely sure the attacks are aimed at SE

That's because the issue hasn't, according to reddit testing, been SE servers but more specifically a hop node that is along the way to the XIV server that's going down. The user's there noticed specifically two things.

1) It disproportionately affects Spectrum ISP users.

2) You can use a VPN to circumvent the issue.

Beyond that the pathing through whatever troublesome node seems to be consistent for majority/all (?) Spectrum users, nope.

Verizon Fios, for example, seems to be alot more consistent with no issues.

It's definitely routing/peering related. I'm on Ziply in the Seattle area, and I almost never get affected when the DDoS attacks are happening. The one last Saturday did, and one a few weeks prior, but usually when I see reddit blow up I'm not having any problems.

Not sure about free sub time (tho it would be nice), I hate the mentality "I'm not being affected so you must be lying or it's just your end".

I've been kicked out of the game at least twice a day for the past month.

I didn't even consider raiding bc I just knew the DDOS/server issues were going to affect it. It's kind of demoralizing to see that ppl have little to no empathy for those actually effected by this.

DT has probably the worst of it tbh. It was annoying in ShB but manageable. Ruined a couple of raid nights in EW.

The game is in an unplayable state for months now unless you play at some bizarre time like 10am when everyone is working, and nothing is being done.

They can't fix the DDoS and they made no announcement that they are even planning to address this problem long-term. In fact they are DDoSing themselves probably because their servers are too weak and need time to shut down and cool off every 24 hours.

Not to mention that there are like a bazillion hotfix patches every single patch nowadays.

You can't even play the game now even if you want to!

What other MMO has DDoS every single day? And this is just the first page, out of 113 pages.

Either refund half the sub cost or give us 15 days free NOW. And come clean about the so-called "DDoS" that conveniently always happens when Japan is awake. Your servers are just bad, stop lying that it's DDoS.
