Hmm
In my definition, cosmetic is something that only contribute to appearance/visual only, with little to none contribution to the core process (gameplay, mechanic, lore)
Hope that make everything clear

Lol you take everything I said out of context and made it so I sound like an idiot. Nice...tldr you just got your ass whoped
BOOYA
on topic answer
why did I make this low priority?
why, because theres other problem with higher priority of course. I dunno but you made yourself look like an idiot here
and why did this is low priority?
because its purely cosmetic, and cosmetic always get lower priority over actual content
I said anything added to this game would be a priority considering the game was in such bad shape. I never said that this should come first. I was making a point that any request someone makes for the future gets the same lame response of "they shouldn't waste their development time on this".
And no, I don't think getting replied by some guy that also takes my comments out of context is considered getting my butt whooped. Some people on these forums.. Smh
This is the stance I would like to see for Musketeer if they ever add it:
Also would make great AF.
Edit: Lol on a serious note, I'm never apposed to them adding new graphic content. New stances would be cool I guess. As long as it doesn't take away from time being spend to make the graphics of the new HNMs that we desperately need ><

Alternate battle and standard attack poses to help differentiate jobs and classes would be a nice cosmetic touch. I really enjoyed the differences in the Racial stances in FFXI, and would like to see something like that in FFXIV.
Good suggestion OP~

Races already animate differently. FYI.
Which I realise is not relevant to the OP, but just pointing it out anyways. As far as these so-called "stances" go, well why not? I mean, if they can add firedance they can add some other equally superficial thing while they're at it.
which is why its low priorityRaces already animate differently. FYI.

No, every ability in this game is the same besides the casting one and the way they stand for each job.Races already animate differently. FYI.

Never played XI and I know that each race had a different animation for each weaponskill.
How about Monks get a new ability called 'Throw Down', in which your monk throws his weapons on the ground, runs and jumps up on the mob's head and starts pounding it relentlessly over and over again at its face with bare fist.
heh.
Yeah I like this battle stance that differentiate between class and jobs.
while having different animations for jobs would be cool, since most content would be done with jobs it would basically make class animations nearly pointless. wasted development time.
as it is, different races have different animations already. as far as the devs taking shortcuts with animations, you do realize this is one of the most beautifully animated games ever made, right? go through your list of emotes and take a look at the attention to detail. tell me that's not incredibly realistic movement.
