there has to be a sweet spot for that though, cause while feeling powerful is part of an MMO, being to powerful comes at a detriment to the experience of a combat encounter (best examples are Nald'Thal and Glasya Labolas)
Becoming powerful should mean you can push phases easier and earlier, as well as survive otherwise deadly mistakes, not turn every bit of content into an unsynched style cakewalk.
