Have they revealed who is writing the Final Fantasy XI raid series yet? I'd like to know that at the least so I can begin dooming if it's one of the less talented writers. :P

I also am hoping we hear about the FFXI raid and gear but very worried it will be poorly implemented, I hope I am wrong.
Hilda hairstyle is the biggest one I want to be released and maybe some other new ones It feels like forever since we had anything new and I am thinking it must be because they are busy trying to fix the messed up characters.
Knowing our luck they gave Hiroi a cliff notes version of FFXI's story and told him to go wild.
Willing to bet the Yok Huy are gonna be our combat society quests, and Mablu is gonna eventually be a custom delivery NPC.
If they had him write the ff11 story I would at that point quit as I feel it would ruin the legacy of ff11. And knowing him he would take any of the female ff11 cast turn them into wuk lamat clones with some sort of parent issues as that's how he seems to write his characters.
That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.
Oh, going back to 3.5 months between patches would be nice too.
I think Yoshida-san and his team made a very irresponsible decision when they decided to work on 4 - 5 different projects at the same time, and I hope they realize this sooner than later.
I don't want something like StarRail, which feels compulsive and borderline impossible to keep up with if you don't play every day, but after playing XIV for over a decade, I'm actually starting to feel how long space between patches has become for XIV. Not a deal breaker for me, but a slightly shorter patch cycle is something I'd appreciate as a costumer/player of over 10 years.
I think the issue is that most of the side content has very short legs, is stupid levels of casual, is somewhat niche, or a combination of all 3. I wouldn't mind a 4 month patch cycle if there was something to fill it with, but Island Sanctuary, Variants, and a watered down deep dungeon definitely aren't it. As someone said earlier, the game is really lacking midcore content -- stuff that doesn't require a static or even coordination over voice to complete, but shouldn't surprise anyone if there's a few wipes.Oh, going back to 3.5 months between patches would be nice too.

I would like to know more about housing item limit increase (shoot it down or tell us it is coming for sure), reasonable assurance that they heard the community feedback on Dawntrail's story, and some evidence that an actual job revamp is at least in planning, the kinds of input or what group of people they are listening to about this subject. That is what I would like to see discussed during the live letter.
