A weapon modification trend..

Kinseykinz had the right of it, that I was referring (though I suppose I did it sort of ambigiously and should've tried to be less vague, my bad) to how the relic's used a base weapon and were eventually upgraded into a new form. That the giantsgall weapons could have a similiar purpose - do we even know if Skirmish is going to exist beyond 2.0, seeing as how this is a training ground sort of thing? I suppose it could be, since the war against the empire should still be on-going when we get back into 2.0's world.

It was more for a storyline type of thing, where more unique gear had a lore related purpose to it. Not to mention, unless I'm mistaken, there's no real specific reason why we have Primal weapons (again unless I'm mistaken..) I dont recall seeing anything that says that Ifrit pulled a piece of his own flesh apart and shaped it into weapons that still burned with his own fiery essence when engaged with your enemies, or if the Moogle King severed the heads of his own moogle subjects or those that went rouge and skewered their heads on the end of fists, or that Garuda pulled her own wings apart and forged weapons out of her own flesh as Ifrit did... for the case of lore, the Primal weapons are just a prize.

So seeing weapons and such that are tied to the world around us in some way and can be shaped or reshaped into unique final products would be interesting.
