Thread: Error 11018

    Error 11018

    I had no problems for the last few months logging into FF XIV through the Steam launcher. Today however it has given me the error code: "File access failed during version check. [11018]". Is there a reason for this or is there a way Client side to fix this error or does it need to be a Server side fix to this scenario?

    Alright, Steam put out an update and I was finally able to get into the launcher and start the game. BUT IT ERASED ALL OF MY HUD LAYOUT DATA. Needless to say, I shouldn't complain but this will now take me a half hour to fix what has been erased from my account. Thanks.
