The token stops it unless you are in a different country or something, but even then I logged in from two different states and had no issues with the token.Actually I have a security token, and this has happened to me despite what the site clearly says. A token won't necessarily stop it.
OP, maybe you can talk to customer support and see if they can't flag your account to stop it from happening or something. I don't think this feature should go away because it offers at least one more layer of account protection.
