Ok if im not mistaken im pretty sure it was confirmed that if u started the relic quest meaning 9/9 seals property beastmen keyitem and the weapon he will "TRY" to transfer it in 2.0 and if u havent started the quest meaning u have say 4/9 seals u will get reset ed and u have to do the whole thing again?

Your entire inventory will be trasfered. Why they should reset yours ? They aren't even key items

that the problem forgot when they said it but if u all think im wrong please let me know so i can decide to do hamlet or not

your inventory is supose to be transfered.... your seals are part of your inventory
they also stated that A Relic Reborn is one of the few quest that will not be reset during the transfer
its pretty safe to assume that you'll be fine doing hamlet now and getting started

See, if it WERE it would be possible to, break it for people, like...
If memory serves me well, you deliver the double-melded item to the NPC, get the Unfinished weapon, and the quest updates telling you to do something else. If the quest reset (since it's just one quest, not multiple ones) come 2.0 you'd have to give ANOTHER double-melded weapon for him or, hell, if there is a step after defeating Garuda and Ifrit and you had already done that, you'd have to do it AGAIN.

It is unrelated to what is in your inventory, loosing quest progression, but related to the entire quest chain returning to the first.
