There really isn't a lot of pvp content out there. Especially anything in-depth

Yeah. It's maybe better if people will try find PVP CWLS, PVP Discords or just simply don’t hesitate to write to players who play well and ask for advices or some help to understand PvP. All experience comes with the amount of time played^^
But probably one of the main pieces of advice. Don't try to play PvP (and in general in MMO) by clicking on your skill icons with the mouse.
I guess quitting frontlines was a bad thing. Good for me. Bad for you. Good for me since I no longer have an excuse to take the game serious. Bad for you since no one has found a way around DRKs.
DRK isn't just the only problem. It's the rework itself. In order to attract more people to try out pvp the devs made combat a lot easier including no drop off damage regarding AOE attacks and the removal of diminishing returns making it a lot easy to secure kills. Guard being useful for frontlines? More like you get to see the clear process of your death from a whole alliance hammering on your shield. Bonus points for getting sandwiched between two alliances and forcing them to play a 5 second game of tug-a-war with you as the prize xD It definitely doesn't help that the rework was made exclusively for Crystal Conflict making certain classes like ASTs more busted in that mode.
I do wish my sibling was still playing pvp. He would have been happy seeing a ton of players using DRK. He would of also been happy to counter the DRK meta. However, seeing that there are no options for duos in Crystal Conflict he eventually stopped playing pvp altogether.
Still, with a bit of support, I'm pretty sure there are certain classes to help deal with DRKs...PLDs, SCHs, RPRs, SGEs heck even DNCs. I do mention the word support since those classes usually needs back up in order for them to be effective (maybe not SGE). However, since most people put the classes that can handle themselves and needs no help at the very top of the list I guess the classes I picked out is meaningless in frontlines since majority only plays for themselves hence the common acceptance of not being with the entire party most of the time, especially DNC since the community thinks of them as a free kill and will laser on sight.
I wonder what's now being cut from pvp in order to satisfy a certain part of the community. Healing is already a good guess. I am curious. If no one was able to stop the dark knight what other wall as a community are we not able to pass? We're certainly not the unstoppable force at the moment.
We can go round in circles all day about whether the DRK+ premade meta is balanced or fair, but to me the critical point is that it is very boring.
Just did my one-and-done on Shatter with a DRK commander I recognized. Every 30 seconds outside the smalls spawn: wheeee! jump on top of their pull, press all my aggressive buttons, run away. It has all the sophistication and appeal of Duck Hunt. (Yes I'm that old.)

This is actually called lobbying. We can go round in circles all day about whether the DRK+ premade meta is balanced or fair, but to me the critical point is that it is very boring.

7.1 is major PvP tune up every expansion and people making these threads to create enough noise to warrant a dramatic changes to DK.
EU/NA complains most, JP side although not through complains, but they do agreed DRK will be be de-throne
I haven't seem SE let something being denominated for more than 2 years (1 expansion) and Salted Earth does not have much time left
I am just more interesting to see where these "DRK commanders" will end up with post 7.1.

Understood. I think most gaming companies would take notice if many of their players regard their product as tedious, hence I took this angle with my lobbyingThis is actually called lobbying.

I hope they balance the jobs for the mode, but I have 0 expectations that they actually care.
I will say the most fun games I've had in frontline were those where neither team had a DRK. Not a lot of fun just following up on DRK pulls all day to me personally.
Since I see a lot more DRK's running around and doing that strat. I wonder what Borderland Ruins Secure's return would have been like. Like imagine a single drk plunging at the whole group and jump off the edge and doing salted earth..
It's one of reason for why they cancelled this map. People started to do a lot of insta kills with cliff push effects on Monk-MCH, War chain to hole, DRK pull to hole, scream from RPR tho it was hard to do kills with last one tbh
