Script Error

I was once able to click through the script error and to start the download/update but then the above-mentioned error occurred. I uninstalled FF14 from Steam and deleted the remaining folders as well as all temp files and cookies, deactivated all my browser security, and restarted my PC - all this to no avail!

I had a friend with the Unable to complete version update error, it was not to do with the first script error, but all he had to do was go to Control Panel (not settings) -> Clock and Region -> Region -> Administrative -> Change System Locale and tick the checkbox at the bottom something about worldwide language support.
