DT's Writing: What Could've Been Better

Ketenramm was a confusing addition aside for being a "memberberry" for people who read the lore. More evidence of the current writers not bothering to read the old story.

"Toss ideas on the wall and see what sticks" is about experimenting with things that are passable, Yoshi-P. Not tossing literal feces in a wall and hoping they form a painting of a flowervase. Also where the hell are the Whalaqee aside from that one guy in the fishing quest? Werent they the ones supposed to live in the area rich in Ceruleum? Not fantasy texas and the rubber bullet rangers?

The Whalaqee and other tribes based on native North Americans were supposed to be in Ceruleum-rich areas where they were being exploited by Ul'dahn oil barons, but that was seemingly either discarded or is in another part of Xak Tural that may or may not have been more or less eaten by the 9th. I lean towards the former considering the stuff surrounding the northern tribes was labeled as "problematic" as far back as 3.4 and the signs of their culture that we'd gotten are missing.

What bothered me the most with MSQ,
there other flaws..but these are the biggest for me:

[Wuk Lamat]
- She takes way to much screentime and focus away from others characters!!! ;
She is up in your face 80% of the time in MSQ!
- She repeat her lines a lot. ( say much the same thing , over and over and over again)

[Wol (your character)'s role/impact] felt like a support animal to wuk, we basically did nothing (said nothing) other than following her around..

Also the Alexandria arch was way to short, It felt so rushed and half-baked.

Thing is, it's not really her fault? A character like her would usually be written over a longer timespan. Alisaie and Alphinaud started out struggling to find their place in the world like she did, and their arcs only wrapped up in Endwalker.
