Honestly I'd prefer if damage done to players during an encounter would increase so we have more reasons to use healing abilities. Make fights more healing and mana intensive to promote effective mana management.Would it hurt anyone? Would it break th3 game? No. As a drk main and non healer player I welcome it. Square doesn't seem to realize or care how big the cracks are in this game from a dogshit ass story to completely stupid af job design that could be patched in a week....it's infuriating to your player base and we are f. Tired of this. I started in sb in 2018 and I've heard healers crying about the same things since. What's the hold up? Give em dps and then we can move on. Fix drk and we can move on. Like this is bullshit waiting for patch 9.xx to get shit like increased emnity. Tell me you don't care about your players without telling me you don't care about your players
The Legends of the Titanmen lives on, a shining example of the power of compassion and the ability of people to make a difference in the world. A reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, as long as there are heroes like the Titanmen who dare to do good deeds in Eorzea.

Would be nice. As is all the Piety XII materia I salvage is auto-sell. I wish mana regen was needed or else just turn that into useful stats. Lame our special material is pointless.

Healers are already spoiled enough with how much DPS they have in this game. I have played countless other "holy trinity" sorts of games where the healers had far, far less capability to deal damage than they do in this game, and that was seen as just how those games worked.
Try being thankful for what you already have, for a change. Some of you seem like you'll never be happy until you're doing comparable damage to the actual DPS role, and that just isn't going to happen. Get real.

First: thankful? Yeah, no. The job devs deserves all the flak they get for designing a job for stupids after displaying such tone deaf stance, then get :surprisedpikachu: face when so many stupids populate the role and non-stupids got fed up either with said design or the same stupids within the role. I personally have no sympathy for them. "We have no idea what to do with SCH"---said by Yoshi-P himself. Lmao.
Second: I don't know about doing comparable amount damage --- but I do care how that damage is dished. I'll just requote myself from 2nd page here:
I want something like this:
I don't want garbage like this:
Even worse, this is true for all 4. What's the point of making 4 healers if all 4 plays all too similarly? What a waste of design space.
Enuff said.

"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."

That's funny. You must be older than I am - in which case congratulations- since that was true a very, verrrrry long time ago, but hasn't been true in "countless" holy trinity games in quite a while. You see, they actually considered support classes/jobs and wanted them to enjoy the game, since they were as important as any other jobs.Healers are already spoiled enough with how much DPS they have in this game. This game is actually in outlier in my own experience- it's the only game where I've been locked into one set of skills with no options at all, and expected to use the same set for no matter what content I'm in. While that works well DPS, it absolutely sucks for support classes. That's the reality check that I hope Square realizes.
the system do not feel fresh for tanks and healers. It's samey so far for them.

Probably a combination of a few more filler DPS buttons and a bit more unavoidable damage taken would be nice if the ideas do get considered. Expert roulette always has the gradual lowering of healing GCDs needed as everyone gets better gear. What might need both Medica 3 HoTs with Asylum in the past might just need only Asylum with an extra GCD used on Glare / Holy instead in the future. And then we have a couple Main Scenario roulette bosses where I might not even need to use Medica 2 HoTs due to natural HP Regen covering for most of the rare AoE pulses.
