How to fix the healer problem.

Would you like to hear about my stories of poor tanks and DPS and why that means they should also be flattened into hollow shells of the classes they once were

Uh, they kinda already did that to DPS after people kept complaining about raid buffs not being aligned in Stormblood lol. ‘One person did the thing wrong so let’s just completely dismantle that entire system and gradually replace everything with an on-the-rails button press once every 120 seconds’. Super engaging.

Like, this seems to be exactly how devs are making their decisions lol. ‘One guy had one bad experience with a Bard not using their songs, quick let’s make them all vacuous dps cool downs with a tacked on support effect’, ‘That one Summoner didn’t get 100% uptime on their DoTs better immediately delete them all and rework the entire job into ‘baby’s first job’ lol

Summoner may be a decent enough example, but the changes to raidbuffs had almost nothing to do with skill and almost everything to do with the compatibility of different jobs. No amount of skill makes your CDs that only meet up with the rest of your party's once per 6 minutes meet up any faster.
