What are we asking for exactly? When I heal (I main DPS) I play SGE and am fully engaged when running a dungeon or other content. Also play on controller so I always have to bounce from my back bar (double tab or R1) to my main bar. It feels pretty busy. It would suck to have to do a DPS combo and manage healing.
Let's try to apply that to tanks then while we're at it.
So now Tanks have 3 attack buttons, and 24 mitigation buttons to use. In casual content, only a couple of them are actually necessary though. And even in high end, once your group gets good enough, you stop needing most of them.
Sound fun? because to me that sounds really boring. Good thing tanks have an actual damage rotation to do in all content so they don't even notice or care how little mitigation is actually needed.
