Artists who hold "art parties" in FFXIV - there's a calendar that collects several of them. I've also been to a life drawing session in FFXIV.

There are also some events oriented towards characters of particular races. Lalafell parades are frequent on Crystal, but I was surprised to hear from my FC mates about Hrothmarket.
