Mana don't have much problem any more, and so is Elemental where we also had healer shortage on around week 5 or 6 idremember, but not currently.

but certain servers consistency has the problem and trying to push it on other as well while making narrative with those pictures, now ehy don't you tell me about cherry picking again?

In working on Savage on Aether outside my static on the weekends since it dropped, I've seen a variety of roles needed in prog and learning parties. In reclear sometimes it's healers, and sometimes it's ranged. But I think part of that is that there aren't a ton of reclear parties by the weekend anyway and those parties are waiting forever to fill period. I don't look on Tuesdays since my static is T, W, Th.

So on average on Aether I haven't really seen a noticeable lack of healers except on some nights attempting to do reclears.

This is really interesting. I only dabbed in extremes and dipped toes in savages (which I found tiring), the healer role felt like it was the last to fill? I haven't made it to the high end in DT yet so I can't judge how long these parties need to fill. I felt it in ShB and EW though, healer was always the last role to fill and there'd be multiple PFs in need of healers.

I wonder if it says something about the Tier as a whole? Fights being not fun/scuffed to heal?

Of course everything we have is anecdotes but the rate of anecdotes of “we waited an hour for a healer then disbanded” seems to be skyrocketing

I've spoken to a few people who cleared the tier on healers, all of them greatly enjoyed the fights and had fun with them.

So if it's not the fight design itself, then there's only one remaining thing that could cause healers to not want to heal the fights, job design.

Have you take that into account, if there is 0 chest kill for friend parties, it may result having significantly more dps and tanks than healers, if healers join these kind of parties. If the first clear is carried by experienced healers that already cleared the fight, finding healers for the next week clear becoming harder in "Duty Complete" settings. I think there is plenty of healers in practice groups, that never managed to kill the fight.

Well I mean the community also doesn't make it very appealing because we keep getting bombarded with that we are(healers) not needed. M4S cleared without healers lol healers etc.

Isnt the big hurdle here that JP is largely fine with healers?

I believe it's a couple things happening.. mostly a matter of people are throwing up their own PF before checking if others are open and/or because they're a partial party. Also there are lots of various strats being used and people only wanna do what they wanna do. So it's just a hodgepodge of wrong job, wrong strat, lots of parties/part preform, etc..

10000x this; its incredibly frusterating to whisper another pf and say "hey want to merge with ours?"

Admittedly the duty complete flag REALLY filters out anyone that didn't hit raiding in the first 3 weeks.

Not raiding this tier. But amongst my limited PF experience from the past that I can recall dating back since Abyssos & occasionally viewing the PF of this tier out of curiosity, I tend to find that Prog/Practice and Clear parties tend to be sporadic in term of role needed whereas reclear parties seem to be leaning toward vacant healer spots and 1 dps (my guess is phys ranged but I never actually checked that so take that as a grain of salt). Friendos had been mentioning waiting hours for subhealers when their own isn't around for IRL reasons. Of course these all are just my personal anecdotes.
