We're already past the point of no return on that.

Commendations aren't just about creating new mentors, and that's part of the problem with the system.

No. Learn to make choices. If we could give comms to everyone and someone doesn’t get a comm it could build resentment/toxicity.

Too late. We've already got that toxicity from those that have sought out having a special crown next to their names with no intent of being helpful or an "exemplar of player etiquette".

Given the amount of time players remain in an instance after it ends, there is simply no way to provide for multiple commendations.

This makes no sense to me. There are plenty of times when I've seen multiple players left in an instance after the duty is completed.

If anything needs updating with comms, it's the rewards.

I don't see the point in complaining about how many are handed out when a huge chunk of the player base has no use for them, because it's been several expansions since they added new rewards.

The rewards are a significant part of the problems with the system.

And when everyone is a Mentor... no one will be.

The true mentors will still be out there helping other players just as they currently are. They don't need a crown. They don't need special rewards. They don't ask for recognition.

They help because they want to.
