The suggestion to hide all outdoor items could certainly work. The only jank I could see coming from that is items still take up physical space. So you'd hitch on items that wouldn't be rendered client side but still be there server sided. As I mentioned before in this thread, loading times for those players using older computers or PS4.
My tone is changing because most of the replies keep focusing on the OP instead of on the suggestion itself.
I also was not the first to make reference to the OP's past history in this thread.
You say it's a bad suggestion. How are you harmed by a random player choosing to hide outdoor furnishings from their personal view when in a ward?

he's going to grift, harass, downplay, disenfranchise, gaslight, stalk, and gate keep!
The PS4 is not the only player client that struggles with loading times. PC players can also struggle depending on the age of their hardware. An older graphics card that still meets minimum system requires can still struggle.Dawntrail is supported on the PS4 and the Dawntrail license is under a dual PS4|PS5 heading. And it has been announced during live letter that PS4 would be supported throughout Dawntrail's life cycle.
The PS4 is just a convenient scapegoat. If you hadn't that, there'd be the Xbox S at least. And given the fix for a Steamdeck exclusive issue earlier this year, the devs also appear to take that console into account to a certain degree.
Another factor is internet connection speed. Not everyone lives in an area that has access to fast speeds or can afford them if it is available.
That's always a possibility yet we've seen other situations where collision seems to be controlled client side. We had several examples of that in Stormblood such as the magitek barrier splitting Yanxia during the level 64 MSQ. Someone with a passenger mount that had progressed farther through the MSQ can fly through the barrier with a passenger that hasn't. That same passenger on their own won't be able to pass through the barrier even if they've already unlocked flying.
Many of the outdoor furnishings have no collision or limited collision so there's less chance that someone would "hitch" on an item they can't see (depending on how someone has decorated) even if furnishing collision is controlled server side.
Again, why is it a step over the line for you? You're not going to know who can or can't see outdoor furnishings unless they specifically tell you.Hiding other people's decorations, be they glam or housing, is a step over the line for me. I think the suggestion is bad, yes. I should also point out that OP was the first to drudge up the drama of the previous thread, as their very first sentence is calling out the <MEAT> FC as petty for leaving their towers up, rather than an innocent pitch for a QOL suggestion.
Why are you content to gloss over that, but find yourself so incensed by others for referencing the same in response?
I ignore the quote you added because I want to focus on the suggestion and not the motivation for it. There is potential benefit for other players. Should those players be ignored just because there's a dislike for the OP?
