It is your personal opinion and it never meant others are sharing the same viewI'm not the one who's trying to drudge up old drama here.
There's no housing exteriors that are nearly as obnoxious as being able to float the most eye-sore inducing housing item twice as high as the roof of the house, so if Square Enix can't do it for housing exteriors, that's fine. Ending the annoyance of those who have nothing better to do than to be cyber bullies only takes the removal of the items.

Also doesn't mean others aren't sharing the same view. As Jojoya's statement point out, there's not really an argument against this being added as an option, yet. If you have an argument against it, feel free to say so, but I think it's a good suggestion, and like I said, it goes along with the design direction they are taking with quality of life features.

On top of this drama can be fully avoid if you learn the word "respect" when you approach someone for a request.
Yeah... I don't think so
You reminds me that guy who is trying to "negotiate" with me for not sell Aldgoat Horn too cheap.
If he didn't attempt his little stupid "persuasive" method by sitting in my house 24/7 like a creep.
I probably would agree; but instead his childish behaviour warrant him a GM warning (a mark on his account for harassments) and I undercut hell out of horn just because of him
Please don't tell me you did the same thing to that FC
What is next?
Is he going to come to general fourm asking for FF14 devs do not allow undercut?
Again, nothing personal, just saying
Oh nvm, i thinks he actually did that too, but never mentioned about his harassments

I don't know what you are trying to make a point about with that. You started with trying to tie my suggestion to some past drama that's completely irrelevant and ended with a personal beef you have with someone who disrespected you. Your personal beef with someone over marketboard troubles has nothing to do with housing, which makes it a poor argument against my suggestion if that's what it's supposed to be.You are requesting the game devs to submit their time and effort to address an issue due to your personal drama

Regardless of what has happened in the past, the OP is not the only one that has expressed frustration with how players choose to decorate their plots. Let's not forget the FC that has used the third party mod to place items outside of their small plot boundaries in an attempt to discourage players from bidding on the medium plot above their house then placed the items along the fence the medium plot out of spite when someone else got it.
Set the OP's incident aside. What good reason is there for players not to have the option to hide the outdoor of other players from their personal view if they wish? Doing so does not remove the items or prevent them being seen by other players.
I've been very lucky over the years with the neighbors I've had at the sole plot that can be seen easily from my yard. Some of my friends have been not so lucky and had to live with it unless they were able to relocate. They too would have liked to have the option to hide their neighbor's outdoor furnishings from view.
I think the only caveat that those who want the option should consider is that they would be highly unlikely to hide only selected plots. It likely would be all or nothing. It probably wouldn't be limited to just the ward with their house. All that would be seen are the houses.
They need to ask themselves if being in a ward devoid of outdoor decoration (including their own house) would be better.

For me the only thing that matters is not having the landscape ruined by the lousy choices of neighbors. It being all or nothing is honestly an accepted caveat to it. I don't go to venues, and there's only like a couple friends' houses that I visit from time to time, for which it would literally just be toggle everything back on if I need to see to walk through their yard.Regardless of what has happened in the past, the OP is not the only one that has expressed frustration with how players choose to decorate their plots.
