Same problem, new request

I will have to say you are quite petty for continuing to keep the lighthouse blocked from view for 10 months now. In hindsight, you can keep it that way if you want. I don't care cause your days of doing so are numbered. What I do care about is Square Enix seeing an opportunity to fix this problem that exists for players like myself.

Fact 1: You can turn off the combat animations of other players (excluding PvP). This is great for raiding.
Fact 2: I'm not the only player that wishes they could turn off the housing decor of other players.
Opinion: I wouldn't be surprised if the number of players that are part of fact 2 make up a large majority of players that own a house in FFXIV.
Suggestion: Make an option for player housing that works just like the option for combat animations in fact 1, allowing you to see only housing items that are placed for your house/FC house.

It's a 100% doable thing. Can't be that hard to add since they recently just did something a bit more difficult with the players crowding around quest NPCs. This is a quality of life thing that would help many and hurt none. I know most would probably be like, "just make housing be instanced instead at that point." Unfortunately, Square Enix has shown no sign of being on board with making housing instanced, so this goes more along the lines of their design direction going forward with player housing.

Is very good idea! Is much importants to be polite to neighbors. Try to meet with thems and let thems know concerns. POLITELY. Mao little bits worried, howevers, that OP might has burned few bridges.

What kind of decorations are bothering you so much to suggest this in the first place? As the others have said, have you tried talking to your neighbors?

Sure give an option where all outdoor items are hidden for everyone's plot. Sure you'll still bump into an invisible tree but at least your view wont be impeded. No one in the "wifi" community made a add-on for that yet?

No-one's felt the need to, even though it'd be pretty easy to remove the graphic for every known housing item. Shows that OP is the only person with this problem.
