Thread: Will 2.0 fix the useless GMs?

Character got stuck recently, tried to fix it by logging out. Didn't help. Forced to call GM. Went through the support desk to report the problem. Twenty minutes later, GM sends me an automated response. Directs me to the support website, tells me they aren't going to help.

Wonder if the GMs will stop being useless by the time 2.0 hits.

Stuck? Can't you just... return?

No, none of the menu options were available. I could bring up the main menu, which allowed me to submit the GM request. However, I couldn't bring up the return menu or the teleport menu.

Really weird indeed. Mentioned all this to the GM as well, still only got an automated response. Have to wonder why they offer a "stuck" option through the support desk in the first place if they aren't going to help.

actually it was probably one of the best things to happen, i was forced to roll from lindblum. I chose mysidia and have been having a blast sense. if i would have stayed on lindblum i'm sure i would have quite a long time ago

I'm assuming this was due to the wards binge down that we just had, in which case you could have simply force d/c'd (there are a number of ways to do this) and your problem would have been solved.
They could have sent you a message telling you this but for something so simple it's really a waste of GM time.

Correct.

Remember talking to you as well when it happened. Logging out/force disconnecting did nothing unfortunately (mentioned in the OP). Got stuck with a black screen, and was only able to bring up the main menu.
