The Great Hunt EX question

Is there a chest at the end of the trial? I feel like ive gone crazy trying to find out.

I ran it a couple times solo as BLM to farm the mount, and I swear there was a chest, and thats how i got a couple copies of the Music roll...
I switched to PAL to see if it was easier (it was) yet at the end since then there was no more treasure chest drops?? The tail and such was still there so im still getting +scales, but is the chest just a random drop?? I swapped back to BLM after a round or two, just incase I would miss the mount drop, but it hasnt shown up since.

Im a little confused about this.
And sorry if this isnt in the right spot, im not a Forum user in general, but google and the Forum search hasnt told me anything yet. Any help or info would be nice.

There's a coffer. It's just annoyingly rare. I've had friends get all the tokens and not seen the coffer at all.

It's probably faster to do 50 of them and turn in the +scales before you see a treasure coffer. If the coffer works the same as any other extreme trial coffer then the mount or the minion won't be a 100% garentee.

You need to do the extreme trials and collect scales it's drop is low.

It appears rarely if one of the additional drops (Minion, Mount, or Orchestrion) drops.

Okay thanks, I thought I was going crazy and just missing it, or it was glitched after I swapped to pal and back. Thanks for the info, I guess I gotta hard grind it out.
