If its opitional sure, have full thrust and chaos thrust transform into the two extra enders but keep this optional. I like having longer combos for dragoon and want to keep it, theres a new system they put in place for both to exist.

Ofc optional ..
As someone who tried both old dragoon and current Viper in controller
I can say that having less button is an improvement for people who uses controller
Plenty of controller users in the past have debunked that idea floating around that playing DRG on controller causes issues.
The job is already simplified as it can be. Basically a WAR clone at this point but without having a gauge. The last thing we need is GCD consolidation.

When jobs become more complex, it's a possibility to discuss. Right now, it'd make them even simpler and worse, especially on DRG.
It shows how many posters about DRG matters don't play the job too much. Unlike most other jobs, the DRG basic combo GCDs are the only ones in their kit. There's no Vicewinder + followups, no Blitzes, no Replies, no Raijus or Mudras, no Iaijutsu, no Gibbet and Gallows... It's just the 7 basic GCDs.
Consolidating or simplifying this would make the job even simpler and more mind-numbing than it already is in the filler phase. What it needs right now is more, not less.

I don't get it
You can have 7 buttons gcd combo and let us have less we both can live with different hotbars

Consider that GNB and PLD can use their invuln to cheese mechanics, which isn't broken due to their very long CDs but very useful.
1 second invulnerability could be used to dodge mechanics and debuff all together, which is the very definition of cheese. Put it on DRG that jumps 4~5 times per minute?
Even without intention, you would cheese mechanics.
If DRG had a Shield that covers 100% of its HP but debuff go through it would already be infinitely more balanced.

I would suggest removing all button but 1 which would apply a 600s DoT.
The DoT cannot be enhanced by any form of raid buff /debuff or potions.
Additionnally, while the buff is active, your character will start doing cool jumping animation.
The button has no CD so you can spam it for the lols and the feeling of doing good by smashing buttons, but less buttons.
even though with your suggestion the job will still be harder than summoner I am sorry but that's the truthI would suggest removing all button but 1 which would apply a 600s DoT.
