Proposal: Create an icon for people who are streaming the game. It would be something like a camera icon, similar to the "online" status or the mentor crown. I see a lot of drama involving streamers, and implementing this might help guide people.

On a personal level, it doesn't affect me whether you stream or not, but there are people requesting it in-game for PFs.

The truth is, a lot of people stream. I know for a fact I have been on lots of people's streams - in random dungeons without my knowledge, in hunt parties, in the background, even had a streamer invade a savage party and clear it with their viewers, sometimes they've indicated it with "twitch" in their character name and sometimes I've discovered it by looking at their Search Info. I've also joined PFs to help streamers clear before, because their viewers weren't actually sufficient alone.

But the vast majority of these streamers are small - perhaps with 0-2 viewers anyway, or just a small number. I'd imagine the larger streamers might make a person more uncomfortable, or if they are uploading to youtube.

Personally, I just accepted I'm probably being streamed a lot without my knowledge. I encourage streamers to block their chatbox to protect private conversations, but there are some naive streamers that don't. But it is something I alert them about if I watch small streamers.

As far as the icon goes, we already have a camera icon in use, so it would need to be a different icon.

As someone who doesn’t mind being streamed, I think any contribution is fine, whether it’s a marker, an option to hide your name, or even covering the chat. I believe any proposal could help people who feel more uncomfortable being streamed.

They would have to use these manually, though. The game isn't going to know they are streaming. So it's no real difference than telling the party you're streaming now.

I'm in the camp that if we are uncomfortable on someone's stream, ask if someone is streaming and leave if you aren't okay with that. There shouldn't be any judgment if someone does leave. They aren't okay with being on someone's stream and that's perfectly acceptable. But I think with so many streamers out there and so many that are small, this is a bit of personal responsibility we all need to take to keep our environment comfortable for us.

The problem with this is that you're penalized with a 30 minute penalty, it should be the reverse- if someone joins a DF/PF party, they should ask if everyone is OK with streaming. If one person disagrees, then either don't stream or leave. The responsibility is on the streamer to respect other's wishes.
