Explorer Mode for other content?

This would be so nice! I wonder why they don't expand it more? It seems like it should be easy from a technical perspective but maybe there is more to it than meets the eye.

I would like to see Explorer mode added to the PVP maps. You can't take your time looking around them during a match without griefing your team, and you can't look around after the matches either as you are forced to exit.
