Is it possible to experience most of the game content in a month or two, playing a few hours a day at the most. Based on your experience
I am a level 17 archer, but there is a lot to do, gear to get, things to kill.

Sad to say but... maybe with a PL >.<
Well, if you want Primal weapons, expect to have to win the fight about 20~30 times for every weapon. Which means only that will eat up your two months.
I still haven't any. Being a casual player, finding the proper party and getting plenty of wins is just sooooo time consuming, I'm not sure I'll be able to achieve it before doomsday... unfortunately.![]()
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
Thankfully, getting one job to 50 shouldn't take TOO much time.
Yoshi has decided it be so. I'd be nervous about how much time you spend finding a party,
but you should be able to get from 17-50 with one battle class in 10-14 days or so at your suggested pace...
-------------------------------------
That will give you roughly 5 weeks to do anything else. Don't even think about crafting and gathering, those take a while. ... {Hmmm...} Well there's no way you can do everything, but you can try to prioritize and see how it goes. 5 weeks alone should be enough to complete the Grand Company quest series, but prior to 2.0 there is no content finder, so you're relying on shouts in Ul'dah, and the earlier missions are ones that a lot of people have already done. Then you still have to mind the fact that your gear will suck unless you get better gear ...
--------------------------
Bottom line, my perspective is that 2 weeks from now, you'd be too late, but today you have a shot.
The real undetermined factor though will be how easily you find parties in Ul'dah for the things you need to do.

Make it happen.
Ah okay, thank you guys. I got on with an experienced linkshell, so hopefully they can help me get the big quests done.![]()
May want to focus on the main story line, since that is the most definate loss of content come 2.0.
Next would be grand company quests. Since those are also story line and likely to change or disappear from their current form.
I'm not sure how active party search is on your server. But it couldn't hurt to put up a Seeking party with whatever you need a group for next. Some folks actually check that. Try to keep on the move and not spend hours in Uldah, If no ones shouting, may aswell grab a few levels instead. Can also ask any LS mates/friends who are crafting to let you know of any Uldah Shouts they hear. I do this for LS mates when i can.
Also try and progress through your Bard AF quests. Since your an archer, when you hit lvl 50 some of the GC quests are going to want your songs more then your bow ^^
Also it may be good to research where the stop locations are in Chocobo Caravans for the highest amount of seals. If theres no Leveling parties, you can sometimes get into one of those for XP if your willing to Stop the Chocos for the group since most people wanna kill things there. This can save you some of your Leve allotment ^^
Good luck ^^
Theres some things you may not have time for, like some dungeons and such, but so far it sounds likely that they will still be around in some form, so i would suggest not to worry about those as much.
