I do like how the initial description of Dora kind of sounds like Wuk anyway.
Even the way Dora handles Swiper by kind of just preaching repetitively at him about not-doing-bad-things is sort of akin to the way Wuk can't stop going on about her father's peace and then it just sways a people-swiper (remember, bakool actually kidnapped people and then laughed about it lmao) to not only stop swiping people but also join her side.
if wuk had like... an opo opo following her around and a tendency to stare directly into the camera and speak to the viewer directly, she'd basically just be dora, and dawntrail would be like some kind of... really long dora the explorer episode. hell, she already stares at the camera and spouts enough exposition that it kind of feels like she wants to break the fourth wall; she just never does it quite like dora.
