Let me start by saying that i know alot of people enjoy summoner and there is no issue with it now, but i always feel that the summoning being insta cast (with a stroke on the book) takes away from the feel of summoning that older FF titles gives, i have some thoughts and let me know what you think:
Ultimately the SMN will have 2 phases:
1. Cast phase for summoning all summons/Demi summons
2. Movement phase for "summon favor" spending.
Cast phase\\
Ifrit/gauda/titan:
. You start the battle with them and not bahamut
. A 2.00 sec cast (with special animation), then the summon executes its attack then leaves.
. Each one can be summoned again after a 45 sec. CD
. Afterwards you are granted the "summon favor" as an executable for later and not passively activated
. You are also granted an aetherflow stack after each summon, for a total of 3, this means that the syphon attacks can be removed to save space on the hotbar.
Demi summon:
. Once the trio summoning is complete, you now have the option to summon one of the following:
Bahamut (on 60 sec CD)
. Upon summoning casts megaflare, placing a dot on target and nearby enemies
. Does its special attacks then leaves
. Grants Bahamuts favor.
Phoenix ( on 60 sec CD)
. Upon summoning casts a regen on party.
. Does its special attack then leaves
. Grants phoenix favor
Solar bahamut ( on 120 sec CD)
. Upon summoning casts a dot on enemies and regen on the party.
. Does some big attack then leaves
. Grant solar baha favor.
Movement phase\\
Until you are able to summon again, you cycle through your gained favors one by one to deliver insta attacks, this means that "Ifrit's favor" need to be reworked into something else, maybe a full "melee range" attacks or something.
