Graphics Driver update makes FF brick my CPU

So I called off work to take a relaxing day tomorrow 08/30, and I noticed that a graphics driver was pending, i'm running AMD ryzen 5 5500 for CPU and this is where the issues are happening because earlier today I was playing final fantasy absolutely fine with no issues, it barely went above 53C but tonight at 2230, I updated my graphics driver and during the loading screen to even click "PLAY" my CPU shoots to 75+C. What the heck happened? And is there an easy way to fix this? Any help is appreciated, thank you

Hello, you could use a frame limiter. The Nvidia control panel and AMD Adrenalin have one.

    Cheers

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced when trying to play Final Fantasy XIV. For us to better assist you, please respond with the following information:

What Platform are you using? (Steam/Windows/Mac/PS4 etc.)
At what point does the issue occur?
How often does the issue occur?

Could you provide the exact error message received?
Are you running any additional programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?
Does this issue occur if the game is run in full screen mode? Does it happen in borderless or windowed mode?

All steps taken to resolve the issue:

If the issues began after updating your GPU driver, have you tried reverting it back to the previous version instead?

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.
