Account Action Review system is flawed. Where is the customer support?

Sounds like you just ran it down on repeat or ran about to dodge the afk kick in pvp. You and others not playing the game deserve a ban. Too often in my pvp games do I get team mates who don't heal themselves, don't attack enemies and run around to avoid being kicked. And I'll continue to report every single one of you for griefing. If you don't want to play the game mode don't queue for it.

Opening the map and having eyes on objective is more than alot of people do. Perhaps a ranged job could elevate that stress? SCH is pretty comfy, I use it whenever I want to relax abit, it doesn't require much effort either, see enemy grouped up? Pop the dot and spread it, run away. Done. It can be annoying if there's multiple SCHs with BH5 (scholar stacking). Or you can test other jobs.

I hope you give it a shot, maybe you find a comfy job. Perhaps you don't like PvP but want the glam from FOMO series or just EXP for leveling, I think you shouldn't be barred from that content but I guess maybe try to be more proactive than passive?

I play Bard in pvp.

I can just use my ranged attacks, follow my group around.

And use my limit break near my party to help refill their limit breaks.

For the people with reading comprehension challenges:

1. The GM NEVER provided me with any details. I’ve stated numerous times that this was customer support. Idk which one of you started down the rabbit hole of fake news but everyone else that followed is guilty all the same. READ TO UNDERSTAND. Don’t just read what the next person wrote and run with it… that’s sheep mentality.

3. SE CS sent me to the account action review and GM because they could not provide me with further details but advised me an GM could and that this would be overturned. Account action review sent me an autogenerated response and then went quiet.

So the only way to get actions against your account in pvp is to not be participating, GM's need to action people for this because it ruins the gameplay experience for others and it's out of your control as a player who you play with, unlike in pve, you can choose who you are playing with, if youre standing around doing nothing in pve, youll just get vote kicked.

The gm's also don't and likely will not provide any information as to why you were suspended\banned because it could be used to manipulate the situation, if they have sufficient evidence on their end, thats all they need to action your account, this also isnt exclusive to SE, this is standard for most quality games, the only exception being a chat related offense. A GM would never guarantee that your account would be overturned, but everyone has the right to send in appeals incase the first GM made a mistake, seems they didnt.

The worst part is people do try to lose as fast as possible in CC and afk in frontlines(doing the bare minimum to prevent being auto kicked) and still get rewarded for it through the series, i wish i could be rewarded for my playstyle of gposing next to ultimate bosses and still get rewards for it.

ez fix - lock all series rewards behind CC ranked divisions \ T100, add group queue for casual CC, frontlines will pop regardless for job exp just like pre EW, add rival wings to the roulette.

Hi Friends. I am posting on this forum in the hopes that maybe someone here can point me in the right direction because customer support has failed me.

Context: in October of 2023, I received a warning on my account. This sent me into a panic as I have been playing for almost 10 years without any issue. I abide by the rules and treat everyone with respect. This game is a form of therapy for me, so I generally avoid toxic environments altogether. However, due to my birthday and the holidays that followed, I pushed the warning out of mind and forgot it about it altogether. Until last week, when I received a notification that my account had been suspended for 3 days due to “griefing”. I was on vacation at the time, and it really ruined my day to know that something was going on with my account that I was not in control of.

When I returned home, I reached out to square enix support over the phone. They advised me that a GM suspended my account because I was “in a match for 12 min without earning any points”. Uh… what? A match? I assumed this was PvP, so I asked the service rep for more details, however they said that they could not provided further information since the GM didn’t include additional details. I then asked them to verify the reason for my warning last year… and they confirmed it was for the same reason; not earning enough points in PvP match.

I asked them how this was a violation of ToS. These are casual PvP matches, not competitive season matches. Also, nowhere was I informed that I had to earn a minimum amount of points in PvP or my account would be penalized. They could not answer my questions but told me they would overturn the decision, and advised me to submit an account action review and contact a GM in game for more details.

I submitted the account action review form and immediately received a response saying that they could not provide details but to respond if I had any other concerns. I have replied for three days now… with no additional response to my questions and concerns.

Today, I reached out to a GM in game. I explained to them the situation… and all they could tell me was that they could not provide any details. I told them that customer support told me to reach out to them and they said that was a mistake. I asked them how I could avoid this from happening in the future, I have been playing for 10 years without issue and within the last year I have received two penalties to my account due to not earning enough points in PvP. They could not provide info. I asked them who I can speak to that could actually help me.. and they just told me to submit another account action review. They apologized for not having the ability to help me further and then closed the chat.

casual matches dont mean you can just afk and do nothing . so the system is working as intended .you need to correct your ways or risk permanent ban .

So I took some side time to check OP's achievements, and noticed that even though they have 300 FL matches achievement, they are still on Slaughterhouse II, which is the achievement for 100 KOs, which means after 300 games they average only 1 KO per 3 games, or in other words they are extremely pacifist and don't play.

Edit: By comparison to add, I too have 100 KOs in FL, within 50 FL matches. I'm not even a FL player, and I still have their KO count with 1/6 their match count.

Having that achievement means they're between 100 and 499 KOs, not that they only have 100. I have those same achievements. I mostly play healers in PvP, and even when I don't I always have way more assists than KOs. And a KO just means you got the last hit, it's not really a great metric to judge participation by in a mode where 20+ players can all be targeting the same dude.

They also have "Mama Said Knock You Out III" for 300 KOs and "How Can I Help IV" for 1000 assists in CC. I doubt they're a "pacifist" in one mode and playing normally in the other.

Each time a new series pass rolls out (aside from the current one) I encounter OP in Primal casual queue. He always stays in spawn until the crystal is almost at the goal. At this point he typically pads and uses ninja limit break. On occasion he just stands next to the goal. I have watched his team stop playing the match to /slap him.

Ah, typical rookie mistake, OP. Instead of outright admitting that you have been actively and deliberately griefing enough people in PvP that the GMs were so sick of all these reports to actually take action for a PvP related offense, you should have gone into the PvP forum first to start blaming the toxic elitist PvP discord premades for devilishly conspiring to get you banned. That falsely reported you for not just going along with their tyrannical version of how PvP should be done in this game, and that this is all retaliation for having a "different opinion". You see, then you would have gotten some backup from certain ReSiStAnCe individuals who love protecting feeders, griefers and afkers like you, as long as there is an opportunity for some cheap shots against anyone even remotely competent at PvP itself. But alas, here we are.
