Plus there is rumors FFXI will get their own fantasia potions, so maybe in its old age male Mithra will finally be playable, female Galka can't be done as its lore they are an all male race. Tho how are they gonna be able to do 8 (or 7 if one of the male Mithra use Lehko's face and hair) plus the B variations of them? and then the battle grunts for all 7~8 variations.

There's no way they're adding male Mithra to FFXI. They never added additional races the way FFXIV did, and they're basically a step away from maintenance mode from here on out, with only minor updates and a very small team, so I'd highly doubt something major like that would ever be done. And I'm raising an eyebrow on the "fantasia rumor" just because they've always been so damn restrictive about their characters. Hell, they didn't even have a name change option; I remember people had to get hacky and basically pay for a server transfer to a server that already had your character's name to allow/force you to change your own.

but if Yoshi is busy with other projects (probably NFT one) he actually should step down,

no man can manage controlling an MMO with other RPG game specially when we are in a period where we need huge changes in job design and encounters.

The arcadian raids have been a blast so far which is sad cause that's a small tiny % of the game. The msq really missed the mark, was tone death, just weird and preachy.....idk how the future for msq will be but if they keep doing dungeons and raids like that 10/10 for the content around the msq vs the msq itself.

Saying he should step down is too much, and honestly very sad to see. I think that interview wasn't his best, and his answers were very disappointing AND I agree with many of the comments from JP, but I don't think it should be enough to turn the playebase against him. He's always demonstrated how he loved this game and for years, he worked hard to deliver the best game for us. We shouldn't forget that so easily because of some few very awful interview answers.

However, I think there's something worse going on in Dawntrail...because what the interview tells me is that he wasn't as involved as he should be. For me it really seems like he didn't play the MSQ. Maybe Square Enix is making him work in too many projects at once and he is taking more than he can handle, while also taking away some of the team from the game. Maybe they're turning him into the face of the company, because HE TRAVELS TOO MUCH. Wasn't he just recently presenting panels on the basics of FFXIV to get new players in France and Germany? Why? And when does he get office time to actually work closely with the team? Who was doing that for him, instead?

I don't want him to step down and I believe he still loves this game, but I do want him to be aware of the actual feedback the story is receiving, and get answers that at least inform me there's a chance they could fix it. Maybe see how bad the situation is getting and try to reorganize the production for 8.0.
The more this goes, the more I suspect something VERY wrong happened during the development of Dawntrail, starting with the Endwalker patches.

Maybe he will see the reactions to ths interview and takes some time to play Dawntrail himself, but I sincerely hope he doesn't take the "YoshiP needs to step down" comments to heart. If he does, things are only going to get worse.
