As a part of Aethercon this year (previously known as Lunarcon), we're running a Heaven-on-High race! Teams of (up to) 4 players racing to the top, hanging out, and earning glory on the main stage!

If you're experienced in HoH speedrunning or just looking for something to do during the con, consider signing up and learning a thing or two about FFXIV's deep dungeons!

this would be more interesting to watch if everyone started at +9 aetherpool and weren't allowed to bring in any prefarmed empyrean potions

We thought about doing that, but since this is mostly being organized/streamed by like 2 people, that's too much of a logistical headache.

Plus all the speedrunners who practice/run this mode do so with potions and +99 aetherpool. It'd be like hosting a smash tournament with items on. Could be good for a side tournament though!
