Since I started using the extension, I've had directx crashes, so I've contacted support and tried everything.
I know I'm not the only one in this situation. Please fix this as soon as possible, it's becoming unplayable and we're paying a subscription fee.

At what point does the issue occur?
How often does the issue occur?

Are you running any additional programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?
Does the issue occur with one character or multiple characters?
When the issue happens, is the PC over heating at all?
Were any update or changes made to the PC around the time of the issue?
Does this issue occur if the game is run in full screen mode? Does it happen in borderless or windowed mode?

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.

Hello,
I use the Windows version,
the problem occurs quite randomly, I had the worry in dungeon in challenge during hunting train, in limsa and even while harvesting.

I play with a single character.

I contacted support at the start of dawntrail:
- limited fps 60
- switched to full screen and windowed
- reinstalled driver with ddu
- format the pc
- updated bios

Might be your CPU being faulty per the whole Intel 13th/14th gen CPU instability issue that's been ongoing.

Since you have Steam installed, install the Black Myth: Wukong benchmark. If it produces an error message during the shader compilation process then your CPU is broken. And you should RMA it.

I compiled the shaders without error for 5 times.
Here's my benchmark, I left it running for 30min without a hitch
