In the parlay cs in the anchor yard, during the quest “We Who Are About to Set Sail Salute You”, Carvallain says “My ships will not ready themselves.” in his final chat bubble. I think he is supposed to say “now” instead of “not”, given the context.

I think it's correct as written. "My X will not Y itself" is a pretty common saying to mean "I need to do this soon because it won't get done if I'm not there".
