Full Party Composition Buff?

Hello,

Is there official documentation someone can point me toward for the buff that applies based on the diversity of your full party when doing savage raid content?

I've been getting into raiding with a static group, and through word-of-mouth and various Google searches/YouTube content, there seems to be some universally agreed-upon information that there is a composition buff depending on the diversity of your full party.

However, this information is either outdated by years, or the size of the buff varies depending on who is answering. I cannot find consistent, official information. I have also tried searching through the FF14 wiki, but I will accept if I have been using poor search terms.

Again, I am looking for official documentation from Square Enix.

I believe we're still using the version from Patch 5.0:

Party bonus effects have been adjusted.

Players will now receive a 1% increase to strength, vitality, dexterity, mind, and intelligence for each unique role in their party, up to a maximum of 5%.

You can confirm this in the Party Members window (via menus: Social > Party, if I recall correctly?).

EDIT: The menu is actually Party > Party Members. (Funny that.)

1. The official guide to the game is on the lodestone. The old fashioned game manuals, item databases and documentation that you would get in the 1990s and 2000s.

2. There is also something called Active Help within the game. You can open it and find most things explained (they are initially explained upon doing it for the first time unless you disable Active Help).

3. This info is typically on consolegameswiki. Sometimes out of date, but typically more up to date than old reddit posts.

4. Each area of the game has a respective discord server with up to date info and help channels. See https://xiv.directory/ - in this case, The Balance would likely have information like this because it is the "optimization" community.

5. To answer your question, DPS increases by 1% for each role type:

• Tank 1%
• Healer 1%
• Melee DPS 1%
• Ranged Physical DPS 1%
• Ranged Magical DPS 1%

You can see which jobs fall into which categories via the Classes/Jobs section of your Character window.

Now, if you open your party window (press O), it shows the current Party Bonus at the bottom.
