August 13, 2012 is the last day anybody can get their Goobbue! (A mount of sorts)

You must have a job level 30 in order to get it, but that will be difficult for a player who has just started the game.

So my promise to the community: I will attempt to power level/help every single person who is new to the game, that wants the Goobbue, get level 30 to unlock the Goobbue!

While I commend the OP for offer of help to the community, and I cheer on those who have yet to obtain their Goobue and hope everyone makes it, I would like to say that it is incredibly easy to level to 30 (and higher). I literally went from 1-16 in about 3 hours yesterday on my PUG duo-ing leves with my friend doing his CNJ (we were doing these for "sj" requirements to unlock BLM & PLD). 16-30 obviously would take more time but certainly 10 days is enough to likely get to 40 or 50 (pretty much solo).

Nobody panic. August 13 is incredibly doable, with or without powerleveling. I honestly thought Goobs were out with that last patch. I'm glad everyone gets a bit longer to grab it. /cheer!

Unfortunately, not everyone is in the same situation where they can commit much time to the game but still really want a Goobbue, so this may not be possible for everyone. But I do agree and people should try to level for themselves if they could.

That aside, OP what you're doing is a really nice thing to do! ^^)/

I love this game and the community is really great, but too many people shun the new players. I want this game to grow and I will attempt to help everyone get started the best I can, so they can be the next generation of FFXIV players.
