People are bypassing the character limit in the term filter...

This is a 14 character term (15 with the space I removed), and yet it says its has 42 characters, so they keep spamming /shout avoiding the filter.
Would be nice to have this fixed, and allow us to use space in the term filter.



And to you scum that do this, no one cares about your venue or your boring gpose pictures, go touch grass, perhaps practice photography in the real world to be worth something, you are not a real photographer and your gpose pictures are terrible.

It's been my experience that few internet users have the capacity for this skill. But it is such a valuable one to cultivate. Eyes just glazing over without even parsing anything on that personal mental ignore list..

Anyway, on the actual term filter, why would anyone bother trying to filter an entire section like that? Just.. filter half of it and it accomplishes the same thing.

The filter is a feature in the game, and people are finding creative and buggy ways to bypass it. I'm reporting an issue, that's it.

Same tbh. I don't even notice these venue ads in shout chat. And honestly I don't have any issue with people who do RP events trying to get the word out. People put in a lot of time and effort into a lot of these places. Personally I'm far more annoyed by a single venue taking up too many PF slots in the "Other" tab with ads, because that does start to feel like spam.

Shout chat in a populated city zone goes by so fast I don't even notice or care when people use it.

Perhaps filtering "gpose" or "venue" or something of the sort would be a more efficient solution than filtering the name of the people bothering you.

If they don't fix things like this nothing would stop them for using other simpler terms with the same premise as the one of the pic to cheat the filter (which is what some are already doing).

Regardless of their way to express themselves.

they ain't wrong. if it isn't wrong.

then something can be worked.

The Devs really have just been half measuring this for awhile.

And while the devs are glad to let the community work things their own way.

That shouldn't be the case for alot of things.

Just like Blacklist got improved, maybe they should specialize that part of the community even more and allow them to grow.

IN A SEPARATE SECTOR.

Merging of Fellowships/GC<->FC and give them a personal/private "PF/DF" and their communities and outreachs will grow.

it will allow people who only care for a few things to do so unopposed. and incentivize players to actually use it.

But as with Carrots.

They need to not be afraid to use thr Stick without Restraint.

If they want people to do things as they should be. The Stick needs to be Used on them, without Restraint.

(It goes without saying, on situations where it's cut and dry. Maybe even give people a Specific chat as a Zone/Global chat along with all of this. so other things like NN ain't abused. Whilst penalizing advertising where it don't belong. Its a chat channel, not an advertising channel.)

I'm not sure if anyone is purposefully trying to cheat the filter so much as the filter just kind of sucks. People use things like the special characters and block letters to make the message stand out more and have a more formatted look to it, not to try to purposefully bypass filters.
