chatbox somehow activates while i am in a fight .

in some fights while i am pressing keys closer to spacebar .somehow my chatbox or textbox activates and instead of taking commands in fight .it starts writing in text box .is there some setting that activates it and maybe i can disable it in options ?

I can’t remember which setting it is specifically, but there’s a setting option that determines whether pressing keys directly goes into the chat log, but you can change it so that the chat log only activates when you press enter/spacebar/whatever.
Basically with the setting on if you press a key it thinks you’re typing a message, but you can turn it off so it only thinks you’re typing a message when you intentionally go into the chat log (if that makes sense lol).

Type /keybind

Click the "Chat" tab.

Uncheck "Direct Chat".

Where it says "Ready Text Command", put / (think this is default).

Now it will only type in the chat box when you type /. For example:
/say something
/shout something
/party something
/alliance something
/n something

To stop typing in the chatbox, press ESC.
