Can we have at least better WHM animations?

I know that every balance suggestion will fall on deaf ears on S-E side. I won't even try to do that.

But the WHM animations is... Weak. Every glare animation shouts weak. Dia is weak-looking as well. Even Holy III is not a explosion anymore. That's a flower now. Overly feminine and overly weak. The new attack, Glare IV, is so weak looking that if the level 1 spell looked like that, anyone would think that WHM is those healers that hits like a wet noodle.

Even on LB3 WHM looks weak. Sage creates an allagan tree of life, Astro calls universe with the power of its cards, Scholar sees Eos sacrificing herself and White Mage... Pray. Just pray and nothing else happens. It used to have some plumes, but nowadays it appears that not even this.

Not even that: the animations shows like WHM are actually getting weaker, not stronger. It used to manipulate elements at its will, but now they can't even create an explosion anymore. It is not only boring: its so unsatisfying to see those animations. It doesn't appear that I'm doing any damage or saving any life.

Personally, I miss Stone and Aero; Stone attacks felt like they had some density to them, while the Aero school had some sharpness. I remember the fun sounds and visual effects of Stone 3 and Stone 4...but I couldn't tell you what Dia or Glare looks like, nor how they're visually different from each other.

I don't mind WHM leaning into flowers, as it fits with the druid-like lore of the class in FF14.

I wouldn't say it all looks feminine, per-say (although I'd forgive you for thinking that considering how much SE seems to want to make healer the 'girlfriend role'), but I do miss the conjury side of WHM.

You don't see BLM losing all its elemental attacks in favor of Foul, Foul II, Foul III, Super Mega Foul, etc.

Yeah same. Stone looked cooler than the generic light particle f/x that is Glare and Dia, too. Those are neat, but in modern games always feel a bit like the default animation the devs have not actually put in the real animation for.

Would be cool if they'd just let us choose which skill effects to have. Could call it a skill-glamour or something. Personally I don't like Stone, but I think if others do like it, they should be allowed to reach back into their kit and use that animation over the Glare we have now. Same with old holy, etc.
More weight would be welcomed in general. Skills in this game feel really floaty and light; I can't stand it.

I mean the LB3 of White Mage is follows the healer LB Pattern which is the limitbreaks of Aerith from FF7. I wouldnt call that week tbh.
The by far weakest LB visualy wise is the Summoner one....it doesnt even summon something....heck Scholar does something Seraph atleast. (The Limit Break got added before she was part of the Scholar kit otherwise)
